*Adapted from Grass-fed Gourmet by Shannon Hayes1 Tsp. Salt 1 Tsp. Freshly Ground Black Pepper 2 Tsp. Ground Sage 1 Tsp. Olive Oil 4 Buckeye Pork Steaks 1/3 Cup of Apple Juice 1 Tart Apple – Cut into think slices – not peeled 1 Small Onion – Sliced into rings 1/4 Cup Raisons 2 Tbs. Honey
Pre-heat oven to 350. Place 4 Dragonfly Farm Store Buckeye Pork Steaks in a Pyrex pan.
Salt, pepper and sage each one, drizzle with olive oil, and place sliced apples, onion and raisons on top. Drizzle with honey.
Leave uncovered, and place in oven. Roast at 350 for 2 hours or until edges start to crisp and turn golden.
